What you enter into a calculator
Every calculator on DevCalcs runs entirely in your browser. The figures you type — salaries, loan amounts, body measurements, text you hash or encode — are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to this site, stored on a server, or shared with anyone. There is no server-side calculation and no submission step.
This also means we cannot recover your inputs for you. Nothing is saved between visits.
Accounts
There are none. DevCalcs does not offer sign-up, does not ask for your name or email address to use a calculator, and does not maintain user profiles.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which calculators are used and how people arrive at the site. It records things like the pages you visit, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, and general device and browser information. It sets cookies to distinguish one visitor from another.
This data is aggregate and is used to decide what to build next. It does not include anything you enter into a calculator. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy. You can opt out across all sites with Google's browser add-on.
Advertising
DevCalcs may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Where ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in its advertising policy, and you can control personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center.
Advertising never has access to what you enter into a calculator, because those values never leave your browser.
Cookies
The cookies set on this site come from the analytics and advertising services described above rather than from DevCalcs itself. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators will continue to work normally if you do, because none of them depend on cookies.
Embedded calculators
Calculators embedded on other websites run under the same rules: the calculation happens in the visitor's browser and no input data is sent to DevCalcs. The site hosting the embed has its own privacy policy covering everything else on that page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, or deletion of, personal data held about you. Because DevCalcs holds no accounts and stores no calculator inputs, the data in question is generally limited to the analytics and advertising records held by Google, which you can control through the links above. If you want to make a request or ask what is held, contact contact@devcalcs.io.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example if a new third-party service is added — the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
